Financial forecasts support strategic plans by providing a financial view of the impact of decisions. Financial models can provide long term or short term stimulations of predicted performance by either business, service line, product/service or acquisition. They can provide cashflow planning information, identify risks through variable sensitivity and return on investment data.
JNW has assisted clients with modelling financial projections. Engagements have included:
- For Bayside, helped develop a Long Term Financial Plan model, including the documenting of major capital and operating expenditure assumptions.
- To identify financial risks for a major acquisition, for the City of Frankston developed a 10 year financial model that included a cashflow and profit & loss forecast with scenario functionality in order to quantify the operating risks. This model is now used for all major capital investment decisions.
